    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    The Intern will modify, develop, and maintain training materials to support the Learning Design & Development Team.  This Team oversees inspection and testing of training products to ensure quality, effectiveness and solid design. Established quality standards, and guidelines.

     

    The Intern will join one of the following Teams below based on skill and interest: 

     

    Learning Multimedia: This Intern will support research and development and internal projects in the multimedia development space (graphic design, online learning, digital publishing, and other emerging technologies)

     

    Learning Design: This intern will support research and development and internal projects in the instructional design space (research and job task analysis, storyboarding, basic project management, and other project support)

    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

     

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

     

    Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

     

    EDUCATION:

     

    Progress toward degree in: Graphic Design, Art, Web Design, Visual Communication, Design Communication, Marketing, Instructional Design or related. 

     

    To be eligible must be currently enrolled as a full time student (minimum 12 credit hours).

     

    Minimum sophomore level.

     

    Maintained 2.75 or above cumulative GPA.

     

    EXPERIENCE:

     

    Knowledge of color theory and layout aesthetics preferred.

     

    Experience with curriculum development or technical writing preferred. 

     

    Knowledge of adult learning principles is a plus. 

     

    Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a Team.

     

    Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines.

     

    Oral and written communication skills.

     

    SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

     

    Strong artistic ability required

     

    Experience in Graphic Design preferred

     

    Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, and InDesign preferred

     

    Experience in multimedia or digital media preferred.

     

    Strong interest in Training as a career is a plus.

     

    Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

    TIME COMMITMENT:

     

    Full time/ 40 hours per week.

     

    PAY:

     

    $15.00 per hour + flight privileges
